By Your Side Home Care has a network of 140 caregivers each with their unique skills and attributes. Yet they all share a common characteristic— they genuinely enjoy helping others. They are responsible and dependable and recognize the value that they bring to their clients’ lives.

1-1 Placement
You’ll work 1-1 with clients allowing you to devote your full attention to them as you improve their lives. Whether assisting with personal care, ambulation and transferring, or simply providing them with friendly companionship – your assistance dramatically improves their daily lives.
Flexible Schedule & Support
At By Your Side, Care Providers choose the clients and hours that best fit their work/life balance. Our placement coordinators will work directly with you to find you the client that best fits your skill set and availability--providing you with ongoing support to assure you are receiving work opportunities on a continuous basis
Competitive Pay
Care providers earn highly competitive compensation with rates normally ranging from $16-$20.00/hour or more. Compare this to the average rates in Lancaster and York Counties of $13.45 -$14.50 /hour and you can see that your skills and experience are valued by our clients. Also, our care providers generally receive 70% to 75 % of the total rate a client pays and you are always free to negotiate your rate with clients.

We offer generous caregiver referral incentives recognizing that quality caregivers know others with the same work ethic and compassion for helping others. You will have access to many educational and training opportunities to grow your knowledge and mind.

What we require for registration:
Have a verifiable work history of dependability and providing excellent care.
Pass a direct care worker competency examination or have home health aide or nursing assistant certification.
Have a driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Complete a criminal background check, driver’s check, and drug test.
A 2-step PPD test is required.
Minimum 2 years experience providing care to individuals.
